I like the one about the jews, muslims, and christians living together without killing eacheother. Very on point. When I first moved here I was amazed- Fridays nights I'd hear the Jewish siren, saturday the muslim mosque and sunday mornings the church bells. It's wonderful.

We lived in Ditmas Park and MOVED to Ktown b/c my husband got mugged TWICE at gunpoint. First time at Church Ave Q stop on x-mas eve and second on Cortelyou Rd. We LEFT b/c of the many many other saftey issues we faced on or near the Q. (Once at Parkside where we witnessed a gang come on the train and pummel the crap out of a guy). You can HAVE DP and PLG! Pay top dollar and hang w the rest of the criminals (including the recent cop shooting!) We may not have vox pop (and look up that owner, he's been know to steal from authers to pay for the 'cause) but we're ok w that if it means I can walk the dog alone after dark.
