I just wanted to let you know that my wife and I are having an Obama event at our apartment on Sunday evening at 6 PM, as part of the campaign's push to get rank-and-file Democratic voters' input for the party's platform for the national convention. We'd like to invite anyone and everyone from the community to attend, and take part in the discussion.
Our apartment is at 280 Ocean Parkway, #1C, between Beverley and Avenue C. Our apartment is directly accessible from the street- come to the left side of the building, with the small brick path leading up to a white door, and that's us. We're still relatively new to the area, and would love to meet other people in the neighborhood.

As for the one-liners, I rather have recycled Bush one liners than Jimmy Carter's second term any day.

by the way if you want attendees, more notice would help.
If you haven't read the paper's Obama is for the war now, what he will do is destroy the economy and the religion nuts are not dictating the platform for the red team, but the KOS kids, anarchists and moveon.org dictate what Obama does.
And that's pretty sad.
well youre half right. obama wants iraq to end in a year and a half. (maliki, the leader of iraq who we put in place, wants it in 2.)
obama is for the war in afghanistan, and he wants to take them from iraq and pull osama by the teeth out of pakistan.
now obama isnt an anarchist - you cant be accused of being in bed with socialists and anachists at the same time. it would imply that you want government to help the less fortunate and at the same time let them fight it out themselves.
explain to me how the war and oil and big business profiteering have actually helped the economy then.
