Forum?

We've gotten a lot of requests to add a forum to the blog... Does anyone know HOW to do that? If so, can you email us and give us the info?

In the meantime we got this from a new resident:
I'm moving from Prospect Heights to Kensington in a couple of weeks and was bummed to find how few neighborhoodies were posting on the Brooklynian.com message board for the nabe. Perhaps if you link to it on your blog, the day to day traffic will increase and we can begin to build an e-community.
Here's the direct link to our board:http://www.brooklynian.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=167

I think part of the problem is that they isolate six or seven (more popular) neighborhoods up top and then the other nabes (like Kensington) are at the bottom after all these other categories. Splitting up the neighborhoods doesn't make sense to me and I think people are less likely to scroll down. I know I am!

Maybe if enough Kensingtonians start posting, the mod's will give us our own board, and move us up on the message board page, too.

The mod, dailyheights, said that he/she would be happy to set a message board up that is linked with this blog (see comment here: http://www.brooklynian.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=42726). Maybe you can PM him/her and hook it up? In the meantime, they're talking about combining the Windsor Terrace board with the Kensington one so that it's more nabe specific. As someone who has lived there far longer than I have, what do you think would be best?

The Windsor Terrace/Kensington forum was set up earlier this month at http://www.brooklynian.com/
