If you walk by it you will see it is a lot nicer looking than a lot of the new construction around here. It actually fits in with the houses and other two-story, multi-family homes along Beverly Rd. I am just glad it's almost done.
The DOB must have been on their case with this house, because you see many other new construction buildings that really cheat when it comes to the height and width of the structure. This one looks no wider than the original house that was there a few years ago. I sure hope someone took the stain glass windows out of it before it was squashed!
laika, i think it's the first house just over Ocean Parkway going towards McDonald, on the other side of the street of this development. It's set back. Gargantuan house with the ugliest yard, garbage, and dilapidated iron fence i've seen. It even looks like it swallowed the house behind it on what.. East 5th? obviously someone bought it for cheap and there are numerous families living in it. and whoever owns it, doesn't give a fig about letting it fall apart onto the families or beautification of the huge yard around it.

You mean, like that huge multi-dweller house with a junk of a yard and crooked falling apart fence?
