Thai Tony's - Gothamist Review

Gothamist beat us to the punch on the review of Thai Tony's which is fine by us since we like to see the hood get a little press. You can find the full review here. Make sure to comment at Gothamist and tell the people about good ole Kensington/ Lower Windsor Terrace. (You could also mention that we need more restaurants!)

I ate here last night. It wasn't bad, nothing fantastic either. I'll have to try a couple other things there though. Although, it is a good place to sit down and eat (which is very rare in the neigborhood). Amazingly, the prices are the same as the Thai Kitchen on McDonald @ Albermarle, and that place you can't really sit down.

But oh, they're also super nice there (which is extremely rare in NYC!)

The food is just as good, if not better, than Thai Kitchen, the restaurant is far more clean and appealing, and, as mentioned above, the staff is friendly. I've been there twice and both times the place was bustling. Thai Tony's is a great addition to the neighborhood.

i'm really disappointed - i tried to order food from thai tony's tonight, but they wanted to charge me a $3 delivery fee! i literally live 4 minutes away, it's a straight shot down coney island avenue to cortelyou road. i'm extremely disappointed! guess it's off to cinco de mayo, then (but i was so looking forward to some thai for a change! the reviews were favorable, and the prices were mostly reasonable, it just sucks that they charge (at all) for delivery!) i also had to talk to 3 different people who spoke barely any english, and it took forever to give my address / order, too : ( what a waste of time!
