We first learned about the plight of the *new* Wollman Rink from Streetsblog (To Some it’s a Park, to Others, a Parking Lot). Later we received the pool petition in our inbox. The pool would be great but we're more concerned about the parking issue as detailed by Streetsblog (this is Brooklyn isn't it and there are tons of trains close by!). To get involved attend Wednesday's Community Planning Meeting on Wollman Rink in Prospect Park.(On a side note we'd be pumped for a pool so we don't have to ride all the way to Sunset Park or Red Hook).
