F to get canopies, no express (yet!)

A little tidbit from a post on NYMag today re: F construction (in Manhattan & Brooklyn)

There's $11 million to replace "historical arch canopies" over Fourth Avenue at the Smith-9th F stop "as per the National Register of Historic Places" — that means fixing the roof spanning the control houses at either end of the stop with original details— plus $23 million to fix lights and MetroCard collection at Smith-9th stop.
